Volcano in iceland

LONDON — volcanic ash clouds from Iceland disrupt air traffic in the busiest airports in Northern Europe in Europe, including Heathrow terminal was closed and airlines to cancel hundreds of flights.

British airport operator BAA Ltd., London Heathrow and Stansted, said Thursday on the Clock (1100 GMT, 7-hour closed) and it's unclear when flights can resume. Gatwick, UK-busiest airport, plans to close.

The British government also said that no non-emergency flights would be allowed from noon on British airspace.
