BANGKOK - Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva said on television Sunday that he is still a peaceful solution to the impasse of political tensions in this country, but he would not be what he gave as harassment by anti-government demonstrators.
Military commander, General Anupong Paochinda, sitting beside him, calling him a shirt refused to "red" for the dissolution of Parliament within 30 days of the protestors, said: "The ultimatum was to cover the foreign media attention."
The red-shirt protesters to occupy many of them from poor rural areas outside the city of Bangkok with more than six weeks.
They asked the government to resign and new elections.
"Negotiations should be conducted to find a solution for most countries, not just a red T-shirt that says only one part of society," Abhisit.
On the last day, has been counter-demonstrations by the people who even do not support color or Multi-Color has grown, Mr. Abhisit and called for the dissolution of the government.
On Sunday, more than 5,000 demonstrators in the city, collected as a sign of a red dress that kept their loyalty to the government and the monarchy was announced. When they get momentum, the demonstrators began to imitate the red shirt selling flags, T-shirts, hats and headbands.
