DENVER - Colorado Rockies president Keli McGregor, a lifelong love for sports has been operating in a brief assignment in the NFL before beginning his career in the business of baseball was found dead in his hotel room in Salt Lake City on Tuesday. McGregor said the Rockies are on a business trip with the team president and CEO Charlie Munford and Executive Vice President Greg Easel. "Words can not the level of shock and disbelief that we all feel this morning to describe the loss Keli," Charlie Munford said in a statement. "Our soul, our prayers are with Lori and the family that we all try to go and understand how such a tragic loss can occur with these people better.
McGregor is survived by his wife, Lori, three daughters and one son. Her voice cracked, manager Jim Tracy said before the game in the Rocky Mountains in Washington on Tuesday that he struggled with what to tell his team about the death McGregor
